Class Policies
Refunds: If you cancel your registration at least 2 weeks before the workshop begins, you’ll receive a full refund. Less than 2 weeks before the workshop begins, I can no longer give refunds.
Absences: If a student has to miss a session due to illness, emergency, or an unexpected conflict, they will have access to the slides and other online resources; they can ask other participants if they can borrow their notes; and they can attend the day they missed for no additional fee if I hold another workshop in the future. However, recordings are not provided (see below).
Recording and privacy: In order to keep the sessions more relaxed, allow people to feel comfortable asking questions, and protect sensitive financial information that may be shared, I don’t record the sessions. Students also agree not to record the sessions (either with an AI system or other recording device/app) or to share private financial information disclosed by the instructor or participants. AI note-taker bots will not be admitted to the Zoom meeting.
